    Just a note...

...from last week's show: We reported that the Pope was looking for a proper Patron Saint of the internet. A caller informed us that one had already been chosen (Saint Isidore, who was born in Seville, Spain in 556). Unfortunately, this is not actually true. Isidore has been recommended for Patron Sainthood by the Observation Service for Internet (http:/www.ua-ambit.org/soi/soi.htm), an initiative inspired by the Pontifical Council for Social Communications. Their goal was to research the cyber-verse and "discover the saint who best reflects the concerns and ideals of the experts." As of the show last week, Isidore had not yet been promoted to the rank of Patron Saint of the Internet. Maybe he will be soon since it seems like he has the proper credentials even though he lived several centuries ago. Read a little about him here.
