    Do you sleep too much?

If you sleep more than 7 hours a night then scientists from University of California, San Diego think that you do sleep too much. Their findings from a recent study show that 7 hours is the key to living a long life. Does that make the old rule of thumb of 8 hours obselete? Not necessarily. This study was not primarily a sleep research study. Secondly, it did not take quality of life into account. Who wants to live a long life of perpetually cranky moods, exhausted waking hours, and increased chances of catching diseases? These symptoms might not lead to a shorter life, but they certainly diminish the quality that might be attained.
