CROSS YOUR FINGERS... LOOKS LIKE WATER ON MARS
Only operational for ten days now, the Mars Odyssey spacecraft is already returning stunning results. Huge deposits of frozen hydrogen have been found just below the surface near the south polar region, and possibly as well at lower latitudes, near the equator. While it has yet to be confirmed beyond a shadow of a doubt, the most likely explanation for the hydrogen signature would be a large presence of water ice.
