I was just catching up, and in this episode, about 20 minutes in, with consciousness, and the filter that most people have. ADHDers have a filter, but it’s not as refined, but we also have the ability to “hyperfocus” where we can be so engaged in what we’re doing that everything around us could fall apart and we’re still completely focused on what we’re doing. Some of us can lose whole hours this way. I consistently lose hours, and need reminders to eat and go home from work.
