Marshall
Clark: As a journeyman technician in the Xenology Institute's
audio/visual department, it was decided by the institute's
regents that he should be sent to Earth to ensure that
Greg, Kirsten, and Ted didn't get their wires crossed.
A silent partner to the three on-air personalities, he
does quiet but important work behind the curtains. When
not correcting their mistakes, Marshall's pursuits include
funding various third-world democratic insurgency movements,
and thawing the bodies of Hoffa, Elvis, and Agent Mulder's
sister, which he keeps in a meatlocker behind his doublewide
trailer somewhere in the backwoods of the Pacific Northwest.
Recognizable in his paper pants and tinfoil hat, Marshall
can often be spotted placing his cranium into microwave
ovens. While it is not advisable to put metal objects
into such ovens, it does make sparks that look really
cool.
