Oops! forgot to refresh my browser – Keep the podcast going! (June 21, 2012)
Love from London.
Every time I manage to get someone to listen to just 1 of your shows, they become addicted and go back as far as the podcast will let them! Then I dont see them for a Month, or until they have listened to every show they can get their hands on. I dont know any other show people will do that for, especially for ‘Current affairs’ shows like yours.
That says a lot.
I absolutely love Justin’s “Disclaimer’s”. How can I get a transcript of these gems?
Yay, the disclaimers are works of arty poetry indeedy. Some are transcribed with the shownotes, but not always. Would be very nice to have a separate page of them.
Where is this week’s This week in Science (as of 8/8/2012)?
I cringed like 7 to 80 times during the bat virus reservoir story, each time Justin attempted to pronounce the word “Paramyxovirus”. 😛
I love your work. I am interested in Space and Computer Tech, but I love the fact that I get a little knowledge about the other sciences. The cat poop story just sends a shudder up my spine, it made me wonder if there is any relationship with the increase in autism and Alzheimer’s. Can you do more stories about green energy? While I don’t believe there is enough hard evidence about global warming, also I don’t believe a tanker of oil is not worth a drop of American blood. I think the approach in pushing green energy, should in cost savings to the user not the effect on global warming? The opponents of the increased green energy usage always bring out the high cost argument. Why does Walmart build all of its new building as high energy efficient standards, because they tree-huggers or it increases their bottom line? Sorry, for the rant.
