Will this be available as a regular .mp3 podcast?
It already is! Our RSS feed can be accessed easily through iTunes (look for This Week in Science) or by using http://www.twis.org/feed in any feed reader.
12:48 [Just because] something disappears … it might be a leap to say it’s gone to another universe.
Justin, you seem to have missed the point.
Neutron disappearance is a prediction of a certain type of brane theory.
One can “stick to our one universe” and at the same time, examine new ideas.
I know you don’t want other universes, but you can’t always get what you want.
Even worse, nature doesn’t care what you believe, it just is.
See my other comments on the topic of multiple universes here:

Can you create an RSS feed that includes only the podcasts and not blog updates? Seems like that’s how it used to be, but recently I’ve been getting updates that turn out to not be the real thing and then I get sad.
Kirsten,
I already subscribe to the feed, (the link above doesn’t work, BTW) but the item didn’t have the link to the .mp3 in it, as it usually does.
Thanks.
Okay, I freely admit I don’t understand what’s going on, I unsubbed and resubbed and now it comes up.
That’s okay, though – your podcast is worth the trouble. 🙂
I know I’m late to the party, but I’ve got a similar issue to Chakolate’s: I’m subscribed to the feed, but the mp3 isn’t attached to this entry.
Hi Everyone!
I didn’t realize the RSS feed included more than just podcast episodes… I can understand that would be annoying.
I recently started posting the videos to YouTube, and then publishing a post here with the video embedded (see above). So, that is why there isn’t an mp3 attached. It’s just the video here.
I will look into the feed issues to see how I might be able to clean it up for you.
Thanks for listening, and for caring!
